Better alternative:
"Regarding Mr Smith"
'In regards to' is slightly informal and wordy. 'Regarding' is sharper and more professional for a medical referral.
Better alternative:
"he has hyperglycemia"
Use clinical terminology. 'High sugar levels' is layman's language; 'hyperglycemia' demonstrates professional lexical resource.
Better alternative:
"Your monitoring of his blood glucose would be appreciated."
Direct commands ('Please monitor') can sound rude to a senior colleague. Use passive voice or polite requests to improve your Genre & Style score.
